You need someone to teach Acting? Movement for the Actor? Linklater Voice? Acting for the Screen? Filmmaking for Actors? Direct your next main stage show?
Someone to guide and prepare students for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival?
Someone to work with administration to create new classes and revise curriculum?
Someone to meet students where they are, and guide them towards where they want to be?
Let’s talk.
I have been an Actor, Director and Filmmaker for most of my life. Throughout my work as an artist and educator I have been continually awed by the power people have to create meaning through storytelling.
For me, actor training is giving individuals the tools they need to fully tell stories.
Here’s what the Students say about me:
“One of the best theatre professors on earth”
“By far the best class as well as the best semester I ever had”
“Amazing. 11/10 ze is the best.”
“An excellent teacher. All lessons are easy to understand and super fun. They genuinely care for every student, and take the time to help those who need it. I admire them.”
“We were pushed to try new things and step out of our comfort zone. They were very respectful, caring and understanding.”
“Zir patience and enthusiasm helped all of us understand what needed to get done and helped us break through barriers that challenged us as performers. Zir combination of dedication and collaboration made the whole experience so much fun.”
Here’s what the press says about me:
“fully committed and just as brazenly bizarre”
THE NEW YORK TIMES
“literal marvels of character intensity somehow keeping pace with killer gymnastics”
STAGE BUDDY
“terrific acting both physical and verbal”
THEATER PIZZAZZ
“keeping house with swagger, and grace”
BROADWAY WORLD
“working with acrobatic abandon- walking up walls, whirling like dervishes… there’s a distinct prankishness to these actors’ there’s also a consistent spirit of solicitousness and generosity”
THE NEW YORKER
